Upgraded Fuel Pump for Alfa Romeo Giulia / Stelvio Quadrifoglio 2.9L
The original fuel pump often causes numerous problems. The trouble code P008A – Low Fuel Pressure in many cases cannot be resolved even by replacing the pump with a new OEM unit.
Replacing the fuel pump control module also does not solve the issue.
The low-pressure sensor is integrated into the fuel line and is likewise not the cause of the fault or the engine’s limp mode.
The actual problem lies in a manufacturing defect affecting many of the new original pumps. Not all units are defective, but a large number are.
The upgrade pump is also essential for stable engine operation at Stage 1 tuning or higher performance levels.
The Walbro E85 Hellcat 535 L/h pump is capable of supporting over 1000 horsepower.
After installation, ECU tuning (software optimization) is required.
