We offer an OEM-level solution fundamentally different from typical aftermarket tuning solutions. It is more accurate to call it Sound Tuning rather than just Pops and Bangs and that’s why:
advantages:
- You have full control over the sound – adjust it from completely stock to a 300ms Burble or aggressive Pops and Bangs
- Catalytic converters, the exhaust system, and the engine are protected from overheating
- A dynamic sound that ranges from a gentle growl to explosive pops, depending on the load(boost)
- Torque calculations remain accurate, ensuring smooth operation of the automatic transmission with no jerks
- Fuel consumption increases only slightly
- No misfires or P03xx trouble codes
- Engine revs drop naturally
In short, You don’t feel the system working; you only hear it.

Aftermarket Pops and Bangs
The traditional method used by the vast majority of tuning companies involves a late ignition timing and delayed fuel cut-off.
For Pops and Bangs, the ignition timing is set very late, while for Burble, it’s slightly advanced. In both cases, fuel continues to be injected into the cylinders when the throttle is released, and due to the “incorrect” ignition timing, it burns in the exhaust manifold. The sound of combustion and explosions is what you hear.
This method comes with NUMEROUS ISSUES that tuning companies won’t tell you about.
Overheating
When the throttle is released, the cylinders remain active and continue injecting fuel, preventing the engine from cooling down during these moments. The Result: Overheated catalytic converters, compromised turbochargers, and a damaged exhaust system. Some vehicles come equipped with an OEM "Sport Sound" function. The key difference lies in the injection amount, which can be 2 to 4 times lower compared to a traditional Pop & Bang solution. That's why the exhaust gas temperature is also several times lower!
With our app, you have full control over the injection amount. The feature will automatically deactivate if the Exhaust Gas Temperature exceeds 900°C.
Torque Calculation
All transmissions rely on messages (incl. torque numbers) from the engine control unit (ECU). Late ignition timing and delayed fuel cut-off negatively impact torque calculations. This can lead to improper transmission performance. Our solution works directly with torque management, ensuring a completely problem-free experience.
SLow RPM Drop During Burble
With fuel injection creating torque and ignition timing not being late enough to counteract it, the engine’s RPMs drop slowly. This not only causes engine overheating but also increases fuel consumption. If the ignition timing is incorrectly tuned, it can result in jerking under low load or throttle release. We’ve solved this problem. Now all you need to do is activate the Torque Compensation switch in our app. Our algorithm automatically synchronizes fuel cut-off delay and ignition timing.
AC Button
Some tuners offer "Pop&Bang deactivation" using the climate control button. However, this only disables the delayed fuel cut-off, leaving the late ignition timing unchanged. If the ignition timing map is incorrectly calibrated, jerking can occur during acceleration or lift-off. We’ve even seen cases where vehicles refused to accelerate beyond 120 km/h.– We don’t calibrate the ignition timing map at all.
– With our app, you can completely deactivate this feature at any time.
Misfires / P03xx DTC
Because traditional methods lack control over fuel quantity and duration, they often soak the spark plugs, leading to misfires.
