What is Multimap (Multimode)?

Multimap (Multimode) is a collection of multiple firmware versions in one, allowing you to switch between them.
For example, you can activate Stock mode or switch to Stage 1 or Pop and Bang depending on your preference.

How can I switch firmware versions?

Firmware (modes) can be switched using our mobile app for iOS or Android along with an ELM327 diagnostic device.

Can anyone download the app and switch modes?

No, access to the modes is protected by a unique security code with brute-force protection.
You enter the code once, and it is stored on your mobile device.
This code will be used for authentication every time you switch a mode or adjust settings like Pop and Bang, Launch, etc.

I downloaded the app. How can I get the security code?

The app won’t work without reflashing the engine control unit with TuningHost firmware!

How long does it take to switch modes?

A fraction of a second—you won’t even have time to blink.

Does the firmware switch completely?

Yes, and what’s even more important is that not only can the firmware be completely switched, but the modes can also be combined!
Each mode is like a layer, overlaying the previous one. As far as we know, we are the only ones offering this solution.

Can Pop and Bang also be turned on and off?

We offer a unique on-the-fly adjustable and switchable Pop and Bang!
These settings are not even available to most chip tuners, including fuel injection control or catalytic converter overheating protection.

Do I need to activate modes for every trip?

No, once switched, the modes remain stored in the engine control unit until you decide to change them again.

Can modes be switched while driving?

Power and exhaust sound can be adjusted while driving.
The exhaust sound can also be controlled using the volume buttons on your phone (Android only).

However, switching fuel type, activating anti-theft features, etc., is not possible while driving or if the engine is running. For safety reasons, this restriction is implemented at both the mobile app and firmware levels.

Emission control can be switched while driving, but in some cases, the mode won’t take effect until the ignition is turned off and back on.

Can I switch modes using cruise control?

We have abandoned this approach for multiple reasons.

Can I switch modes using only one mobile device?

No, you can use an unlimited number of mobile devices. Each device must have the security code entered.

I have multiple cars. Can I use Multimap on all of them?

Yes, you can. Each security code is linked to the VIN or firmware number upon successful connection to a vehicle.
Next time, the app will automatically select the correct code based on the vehicle data.

Is Multimap expensive?

We offer a reasonable price comparable to traditional chip tuning.
This was made possible through our proprietary firmware editor (not for sale), which reduces Multimap firmware creation time from days to just a few seconds.

What cars are supported?

A wide range of brands and models are supported, from VAG to Ferrari.
This is also unique, as the few companies that offer Multimap typically work with only certain brands (mostly VAG).

Why don’t other tuning companies offer Multimap?

Because the difference between Stage 1 and Multimap is like the difference between a bicycle and a fighter jet.
Very few companies in the world are capable of implementing Multimap at all—let alone quickly and at an affordable price.
